Thirty degrees in the attic flat in Giessen, a bedroom under the roof in Wetzlar, a practice in Marburg where patients wait in the heat: summers in Central Hesse have become longer and hotter. A properly sized split unit cools quietly, filters the air and in spring and autumn even heats more cheaply than many old boilers. We size it for your rooms instead of selling you the biggest box.

What can modern air conditioners do?

  • Efficiency class A+++: inverter technology adjusts the output continuously and uses up to 60% less electricity than old units.
  • Heating and cooling: reversible units work as an air-to-air heat pump – an efficient additional heating in spring and autumn.
  • Air filtering: integrated filters remove dust, pollen and allergens; some models add ionisation and antibacterial filters.
  • App and smart home: schedules, consumption monitoring and control by app or voice assistant.

What do we take care of for your air conditioning?

  • Advice and planning – on site, with cooling-load calculation for your rooms
  • Installation of split and multi-split units from Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung and others
  • Maintenance – filters, refrigerant check, cleaning of indoor and outdoor unit, hygiene
  • Repair – no cooling, noises, error codes: diagnosis and repair of all common brands
  • Commercial – offices, practices, restaurants, server rooms and shops
Permit and neighbours: split units usually need no building permit, but in rented flats the landlord's consent and in condominiums the owners' association must agree. Noise limits towards neighbours apply – we choose the installation site accordingly.

Frequently asked questions

A single-split unit starts at €1,800 including installation; multi-split systems from about €4,000. The exact price depends on cooling capacity, unit and pipe runs. Our calculator gives a first estimate.

Modern indoor units run at 20–25 dB(A) in night mode – quieter than a whisper. The outdoor unit produces 45–55 dB(A); we position it so that neighbours are not disturbed.

Usually not. Listed buildings, rented flats and condominiums require consent from the authority, landlord or owners' association. We advise you.

Yes, most modern split units are reversible and work as an air-to-air heat pump – efficient down to about −15 °C, ideal for spring and autumn.

Once a year, ideally before the cooling season: filters, heat exchanger, refrigerant pressure, condensate drain and a function check.
